Iced coffee is one of my favorite ways to splurge year-round. That being said, there is nothing worse than accidentally treating yourself to a diluted, over-iced, flavorless let-down. So that you can avoid this shame/disappointment/embarrassment I have…
Great reviews of coffee around Philly! I’ve only just recently found the magic within the city and have been to 2 of the places listed in the past week! La Colombe Torrefaction is a cozy coffee shop in Rittenhouse serving THE BEST coffee, hands down (I’ve always been a huge fan of La Colombe), and I just went to the Old City Coffee at the Reading Terminal Market the other day — another great pick!
I’ve been a barista in Philly for three years… Some of this I agree with, some of this is just bunk. The author doesn’t even touch upon how these coffees are brewed, what type of coffee they to begin with, where it’s roasted, where it’s sourced, oh and they completely miss a lot of really good shops in the process. Uh, basically, birdwings, you let me know if you want to meet up for some good coffee and we can have an awesome little city-date. I promise not to rant at you about my coffee-feelings!
P.S. I deleted the La Colombe icon because I cannot even stand to have it in my stream.
