I’d seen the top photo floating around for a LONG time, but never wanted to post it until I found the source. Finally, finally found it tonight. I was browsing Tattooist Art Magazine on Facebook, and they had the photo up with the artist listed as Andrey Flerko. There wasn’t a link for him, so I searched around some more. He doesn’t seem to have a work site, but I found some more photos (the tattoo is done on his wife, Elena Provornaya). If anyone knows a work link for him, please let me know.
whoa yes
YES THANK YOU. I looked all over the place, asked my partner if he recognized the work — no dice. Excited, thank you.

My boyfriend has the talents.
I love the colors. This is beautiful.
Ok, this is weird: I do an image search on this tattoo because I know who the illustrator is (Henry Darger), but I also want to credit the tattooer and photographer… And the tattoer is my friend, Mel. Which makes me love the tattoo (and Mel) even more. You can see more photos from this same trip here, and oh yeah, the photographer is a Flickr friend of mine, likely from knowing Mel.
The internet is so strange.
